Description	文化復新事於2016年7月正式開始。兼具創新與復古，我們的創辦團隊是一群網路工作者以及對文化資產修復與保存的推廣具有熱情的人。目前文化資產的保存，遇到最大的問題，是台灣人對於文化資產的保存概念尚未完善，而政府也沒有相對的配套措施足以讓真正具有歷史價值的文化資產不再遭受破壞，以至於每每有老宅遭遇暴力破壞、焚毀的事件。因此我們要建構的不只是民眾對於文化資產的保育意識，同時也要呼籲政府重視文化資產遭受暴力的事實，並立法加以制止。文化資產的修復需要政府與人民之間的共同默契與合作，修復的理念是基於人們對於歷史重現的發想，並加入創新的因子，兩者兼容並蓄，才能使文化資產能夠永續發展，這也是「文化復新事」的核心理念。
